Four years later, Alec proposed cliffside in Big Sur, 🌊 and the pair began planning for their Maui 🌺 wedding. On the day-of, the bride dressed in Carolina Herrera. “I always loved the beautiful and timeless designs of Carolina Herrera, and I also loved the idea of buying second-hand,” Allie explains. “And just by chance, I was researching Carolina Herrera gowns I loved, and a girl in my neighborhood was selling my dream wedding dress she had never worn. Kismet! I loved that the dress had more than one look with the detachable train. We could bring drama to the ceremony and pop it off for the reception!”
