Some of the biggest benefits I see in our mostly native yard include never having to water, enjoying lots of birds and butterflies, and a constantly changing palette of colors and blooms.

Long story short, most are doing good, some are doing bad, and a lot are just okay-ish. We are making good progress in lake restoration and phosphorus reduction efforts but will need to focus our attention in the coming years on chloride (salt) and protecting lakeshore habitat.
