L’aspetto più originale del suo lavoro è il modo in cui queste maschere smettono di essere semplici oggetti statici da appendere al muro per trasformarsi in veri e propri strumenti interattivi. Nelle sue opere il volto si scompone, si moltiplica o si apre a ventaglio, creando un effetto quasi ipnotico e disorientante che scava nel dualismo tra ciò che mostriamo al mondo esterno e ciò che custodiamo dentro. Di recente ha iniziato a estendere questo approccio creativo a performance che coinvolgono l’intero corpo, trasformando la maschera in un’estensione fisica e coreografica di se stessa. È un percorso artistico profondamente intimo ma al contempo universale, capace di trasformare la ricerca della propria identità in un processo visivo giocoso, a tratti surreale e di grandissimo impatto visivo.
