I'll be sharing some more memories we have had in Warsaw. Thank you for the beautiful memories Warsaw!
What Christmas Markets have you been to this year?

Every little bit helps. On another note, Phoebe is back with us and is on the mend. We will be sticking around Poland a bit longer while she is healing. Meryl is happy to have her back home! We all are.
You’ve watched my twins grow up across borders, cultures, and continents. You’ve seen us learn, explore, and adapt. And many of you have stayed with us through every chapter — including the hardest ones.
I’m Nicole, a disabled single mom to neurodivergent 15 year old twins. After years of fighting for our family’s safety and dignity, I’ve been accepted into a PhD program in the UK — a chance to rebuild everything we lost.
But before we can begin, I need help covering the UKVI student visa fees. The money I meticulously saved for months was completely wiped out after my daughter’s recent medical emergency while in Warsaw, Poland. Every dollar went toward remaining in an environment where she could continue to improve — and I’d do it again without hesitation.
❤️ Why this step matters so much:
While we lived in France, my twins faced constant and painful discrimination because they are Black, neurodivergent, and disabled.
They were:
• Racially profiled
• Bullied for their race and disabilities
• Denied proper educational accommodations
• Excluded until their confidence shattered
• I have not shared previously, but Phoebe was cyberbullied by a classmate and she tried to commit suicide
We didn’t leave France because we wanted to —
we left because staying meant losing pieces of ourselves.
Scotland was the first place my twins were ever truly supported and understood. Returning there for my PhD is a chance for them to thrive again.
✨ If you’ve been part of our worldschooling journey — if you’ve cheered for my kids since they were small — I’m asking for your help with this final hurdle.
Your support goes directly to:
• UKVI student visa fee
• Immigration Health Surcharge
• Biometrics & documentation
You’re helping a disabled mom fighting for her family.
You’re helping two teens who deserve safety and dignity.
You’re helping us believe in a kinder future.

Thank you for standing with us — from our worldschooling days to this new beginning. 💛

If anyone wants to talk about moving abroad or worldschooling, feel free to PM me. Happy to help or point you in the right direction for resources. I receive SSDI and it is possible to live abroad and have your SSDI stretch further while you live a comfortable life either solo or with your family.
Join expat groups for countries you are wanting to move to and get information on how to apply for visas. Do the research, there are options out there if you do not feel safe to stay in the US.
Be sure to purchase Geoblue Medical Travel insurance prior to leaving the US. I'm not a rep for them nor am I an affiliate. We used them when we first left the US, and it came in handy during a few medical emergencies me and my kids had.
A few FB groups that come to mind are:

A presentation I put together:
I will post the links in my bio as well. This is a Pic from our travels to Monaco this summer for my birthday!
It's been a while since we've posted in this space and that's because I need the mental break. Social media is a lot to handle and sometimes it becomes overwhelming with my social anxiety.
But I just wanted to pop back in to say that we will start posting updates again. I'll post updated on what we've been doing since I last posted as well as sharing about our move from France back to Mexico!
We decided this as a family after realizing that France was not the right fit for our family. After trying for 3 years and unsuccessfully trying to move elsewhere in France numerous times. After hitting so many road blocks these past 3 years, it became time to recognize that we were putting too much effort into a place that was just not right for us.
So we are starting the process of moving back to Scotland...(We wish), no it's Mexico (another place that stole our hearts) and we aim to be there by Mar or Apr 2025. Where my kids will return to worldschooling.
As always, I'm here to answer any questions you have about how to get started with worldschooling and can provide you with resources on how to do so.
I met my teammates yesterday during our training. Combined, our team represents 4 Countries with 3 languages being spoken: French, English, and Italian. Some team members have volunteered at the World Cup in several countries.
Let the games begin!
