I was contacted around the end of 2022 by CLIP STUDIO PAINT to test their application, and tbh i had been curious for a while already, so that proposal was a great opportunity to finally try it out!
Here's the illustration i finally got out of it:) (Sorry I'm so slowww, thanks for trusting me anyway CSP team!!) A little moon addition to go with my Clair de Lune piece.:D
About my first steps in CSP: it was kinda scary at first because the interface has so many options it can be a little overwhelming, but once i took the time to change all my shortkeys (i am a keyboard-dependant artist lol), i had a nice time! The colors do mix in a special way, emulating more traditional media than my usual software, and it felt suuuper satisfying. I easily managed to transfer my custom mixer brush from PS to CSP so that was also a big win hehe. Otherwise, I mostly used the basic "round mixing brush" in the thick paint section to paint (my new best friend 😌).
To the other artists passing by, what about you!? Are you *basic hard round boi* supporters or *FaNcY bRuShEs* addicts?:p

J'ai été contactée fin 2022 par CLIP STUDIO PAINT pour tester leur application, et vu que ça fait un petit moment que j'en étais curieuse, c'était la parfaite occasion pour m'y pencher plus sérieusement!
Voilà l'illustration que j'ai réalisée dessus, un prochain print pour aller avec Clair de Lune:D
Petit retour de mes 1ers pas sur CSP: l'interface fait un peu peur au début car il y a tellement d'options qu'on peut se sentir un peu perdu, mais une fois que j'ai pris le temps de modifier mes raccourcis et customiser la disposition des paramètres, c'était nickel! J'avais déjà testé une fois avant mais ça a confirmé le feeling très agréable pour peindre, les couleurs se mélangent de façon un peu plus proche de la peinture traditionnelle et c'est suuuper satisfaisant. J'ai réussi à transférer ma mixing brush depuis PS assez facilement, et sinon j'ai surtout utilisé leur brush "Mélangeur rond" (my best friend 😌).
Pour les autres artistes dans le coin, vous êtes team brush basique ou team fancy??:p
