January brought the biggest surprise. March, our boy turned 6 & we shared the news that we were expecting a baby girl. April was LA + Disneyland. July was a Cayman Islands babymoon. Summer was friends, family, and all the good stuff. October gave us our beautiful baby girl. And we closed it out with a beautiful Christmas and a Vegas trip with my sister to see the Backstreet Boys—the best Christmas gift, thanks to the best husband.

No rushing out the door, no timelines, no driving from house to house before we’ve even had a moment to breathe. Instead, we choose slow. We choose mornings in pajamas, coffee in our own mugs, toys being opened and loved right away, and a day that unfolds naturally, at the pace childhood is meant to feel.
