I’ve got something for those of you who love shapes, patterns and… desert landscapes. It was such a cool experience photographing these dunes with my favourite person 🔥📸

Once upon a time in Alabama Hills ✨
In 2019, I was looking for a way to share my photography while also finding a way to cover the expenses that landscape photography naturally comes with. That’s when the idea of creating a calendar was born. It became a practical way to showcase my work while offering something useful that could also decorate a space.

A few years later, I added something extra. Each page is perforated so the image can be easily detached and reused as a print. This year marks my sixth edition.

I wasn’t sure if I would create another calendar. It requires a lot of work, time, and energy, not only to produce it but also to sell and ship it. But this project is more than just a calendar to me. It is a collection of my favourite images and each one carries a unique story behind it.

That’s what inspired a small change this year. Instead of listing the location, I replaced it with a quote connected to the story behind each image. It feels more personal and meaningful.

I’m a very ambitious person and I believe I will gain recognition as an artist one day. That’s why I always tell people who purchase my calendars to keep them, because one day, they might be worth a fortune 😉

To be continued…
During the process of mastering my photography skills, something shifted for me. My eye began to notice more subtle details in nature. I started paying closer attention to light, shape and depth and experimenting with different techniques to capture moments in a more abstract way.

Photography became even more fun and these images quickly became some of my favourite works. Each one carries a story and was created with intention.
“When the view disappears, it doesn’t mean the moment is lost. Sometimes it just asks you to climb higher.”

We can all agree that the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most photogenic bridges on Earth. During my latest trip to San Francisco, I couldn’t not try to capture it. I went to one of the viewpoints for sunrise but this spot is also known for fog that can cover the entire bay, including the bridge and downtown. That morning, this is exactly what happened. When I arrived at the viewpoint, I couldn’t see farther than 15 meters. I waited about 15 minutes but it didn’t make much sense to stay. So, a bit disappointed, I decided to drive back to the hotel.
As I was leaving the parking lot, I spotted a few breaks in the sky. It looked like the fog wasn’t that high and there was a chance I could get above it if I hiked one of the nearby hills. Inversion is such a special phenomenon for me, so the moment I got above the clouds, I felt incredibly excited and happy that I didn’t give up and found a way to still create and enjoy this very special moment.
Have you ever seen the moon rolling down the mountainside?
It’s been an incredible year for me and my photography, feeling like I’ve reached a new level of creativity! Thank you, 2023, for all the incredible moments. I’m thrilled to embark on my photography journey in 2024! I have a strong feeling that this year will surpass the last one in every way! Let me know which are your 3 favourite shots!

It’s been 5 years since I started my journey with photography. I think I couldn’t celebrate this with a better shot. I’ve been hunting for Milky Way for a few years and finally I was ready to capture this beautiful atmospheric phenomenon! I think this photo shows that I’m going in a right direction..
