I went to my first Shabbat with an actual Rabbi last night and I’m having trouble putting into words how wrecked I am from the experience. I’m think it will take me days to process the beauty, the sacredness, the simplicity, the depth, the symbolism, what I experienced in the atmosphere, the joy, the desire for everyone I know to experience it, the feeling that I’ve been missing this my entire life… the honor to be invited, and the “pinch me” feeling in the moment, the fullfillment of sitting with no agenda but connection.

This year has carried a lot of change for our family, so instead of Christmas cards in the mail, here we are sending love and blessings your way. Our boys started high school and our daughter, junior high! We have fully embraced “taxi driver” season with our kids going from school, to sports and social hangs. We transitioned back to a new, but old church, and so much more!
We’re so thankful for God’s faithfulness through every season and for the beauty of new beginnings that still feel deeply familiar.
