Create a space for relaxing by making the brand new gas fireplace the central point of the room and install some custom cabinetry with rattan door inserts as well as shelving for displaying treasures.
Source a compact, comfy and practical reading chair from
Anchor the space with an organic shaped coffee table and side table
Soften the room with sheer curtains from
Add a ceiling fan from for airflow in warmer months
Source a bamboo floor lamp and have it custom coloured from and pair it with a custom lampshade made from vintage specialist
Add some fun cushions and objects to style the coffee table with. Voila!

Create an elongated bedhead that frames two single beds nicely
Choose a patterned fabric with some contrasting piping
Source a cute bedside table and lamp
Keep the bedding neutral and add pops of colour and pattern in accessories
Added some rattan wall hooks and repurposed some vintage retro art pieces the client already owned to make the room feel quirky and unique
I had fun putting this room together and I’m sure the grandkids now love coming to stay for sleepovers! 🫶🏼💕

This bedroom was renovated and made larger by building in what was an original verandah space that was hardly ever used.
Located upstairs, it was spacious enough to incorporate a sitting area that took advantage of the bay views.
An area to relax and unwind with a coffee in the morning or a wine in the evening. Built in cabinetry was created to make space for a mini fridge and appliances such as a kettle and coffee machine as well as practical storage.
We added a little colour and pattern with wallpaper and also custom made furniture to feel cosy and comfortable.

Four separate bedrooms at the Safety Beach project to style; a main bedroom, two guest bedrooms and a fun bedroom set up for grand kids to sleep in when staying over.
A mix of colour, texture and pattern in furniture and materials in every room made each space functional and feel unique, whilst also still maintaining a harmonious flow throughout the home.
I think bedrooms have to be a favourite room for me to help clients create, always a fun process!
