In Cairns wurden wir abgeholt vom Cousin meines Freundes. Er lebt seit 2 Jahren in Australien und hat uns einiges in der Umgebung gezeigt. Wir waren auf einem Markt in Port Douglas und bei einem Wasserfall in Mareeba. Das wandern dorthin war das eigentliche Abenteuer an der Sache 🥾 Es war unglaublich heiß an diesem Tag und das kühle Wasser des Wasserfalls fühlt sich nach einer absoluten Erfrischung an ✨ Meine Ängste vor Spinnen und Schlangen wurden maximal auf die Probe gestellt, aber es ist nix passiert und ich bin stolz, mich überwunden zu haben 🙏🏼
Nach tollen drei Tagen ging es mit dem Flugzeug wieder Richtung Süden nach Brisbane, wo wir uns ins Nagelstudio und zum Friseur begeben haben - sowas bleibt auf Reisen nicht aus. Brisbane diente nur als Zwischenstation für 2 Tage und danach ging es für uns an die Gold Coast nach Surfers Paradise. 🌊

Kleidung ist viel mehr als nur etwas zum Anziehen.
Für mich sind manche Teile wie kleine Zeitkapseln.
Ich ziehe sie an und bin sofort wieder dort – am Meer bei Sonnenaufgang, zwischen blühenden Straßen im Frühling oder irgendwo oben in den Bergen mit diesem Gefühl von Freiheit.
Deshalb liebe ich Kleidung, die genau dieses Gefühl trägt.
Die Quotes auf dem Rücken von bayside bound erinnern mich jedes Mal daran, warum ich das Reisen so liebe.
Und ganz ehrlich: Auf Reisen brauche ich genau solche Pieces – unkompliziert, bequem, easy zu waschen und einfach immer passend.
Für mich ist es mehr als ein Outfit.
Es sind Erinnerungen, die ich tragen kann. 🤍

Ab Tag drei gab es wieder Sonnenschein ☀️ was für uns hieß: Schnorcheln und Bootstour 🚤 Es war traumhaft eine so natürliche Insel sehen zu können mit all den Unterwassertieren 🐠 Maggie eignet sich wirklich perfekt zum runterkommen und genießen - es ist wenig los und man kann einfach mal entspannen 🧖🏼♀️ Auch die Wallabys am Morgen zu besuchen, sollte auf jeden Fall auf der Liste stehen, wenn man auf der Insel ist 🦘 Die waren so süß 🥰 Eine weitere Empfehlung ist der Koala Park am Bounce Hostel…dort gibt es viele Tiere die aufgepäppelt und gepflegt werden ✨ Man kann eine geführte Tour buchen für 20€ P.P., ohne Tour kommt man nicht zu den Tieren 🙏🏼

📍 Moreton Island hat uns total gut gefallen 😍 Sie ist nur etwa 30 Minuten von Brisbane entfernt und bietet super viele Möglichkeiten. Wir waren zuerst beim Sandboarding in den Sanddünen und sind danach zum Strand ans Tangalooma Schiffswrack zurückgekehrt. Dort haben hunderte von Fischen, Schildkröten und sogar Haie auf uns gewartet 🩵 Es war unsere erste Schnorchelerfahrung in Australien und wir waren dort schon begeistert 🤩
Wir können diese Insel auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würden bei der nächsten Reise nach Australien sogar nochmal dorthin fahren ✨🤭
