I felt a special connection to Phoenix from the very moment I met her at the shelter. She was only 1 year old at the time and I had just moved out of my parentβs house. Phoenix is not only my first cat, but sheβs also my first pet (thatβs not also the family pet).
If youβve been lucky enough to meet her, you know that sheβs immediately very sweet to everyone she meets. I used to think all cats were mean and evil before I met Phoenix. She completely changed my mind. I wish I got to see what she was like when she was a kitten. But I have a feeling that sheβs always been this way.
