Crazy to think back.
We opened in January 2020 right before the uncertain times.
No roadmap or guarantees
Just belief and we adapted and pushed through.
Since then:
Thousands of coaching sessions.
Over 1,000 people through the doors.
And the goal has never changed.
To have a positive impact on people in our Belfast community.
To change lives through health and fitness.
To help people get stronger, more confident, and build real self-belief.
That’s what Momentum was built for.
So I want to say thank you to every single person who’s ever trained here.
Even one session you’ve been a massive part of this journey.
And huge gratitude for the coaches.
They are Good humans Great coaches.
The kind of people you actually want to be around.
This place doesn’t exist without you.
And as mad as it sounds…
I genuinely feel like we’re only getting started.
Only beginning to understand what’s possible and the impact we can truly have.
Thank you all 💙
Looking back over the last 10 years, there’s definitely been times where I sacrificed myself for work.
A month here, sometimes two, where training slipped, nutrition went to shit, energy dropped and I just didn’t feel good.
Honestly It was tough.
But I’ve been through that cycle enough times now to know what’s required to bounce back.
2025 was probably the most balanced year of training I’ve ever had.
No extremes. No mad dips. Still strong, still in shape, still performing.
That was new for me.
Compare that to 2024 moving gym, chaos, stress that was just a case of riding the wave.
There was nothing I could do but suck it up and get through it. And I get that too. Sometimes life just happens.
My position’s a bit different because I’m a fitness coach. I’m obsessed with training. I know how to pull myself back quickly.
But I completely understand how confusing it is if you’re not. Not knowing where to start.
What to focus on. What actually matters.
That’s why I believe this so strongly
Fitness isn’t an on-off impulse.
It’s not a 30-day crisis.
It’s phases. Targets. Reviews. Adjustments.
Exactly like business.
You already know how to do this you just haven’t applied it to your body yet.
And if your ambition is high, your health standards should match it.
And right now, it’s telling me something’s shifting.
On the surface, things are good.
But I’ve learned not to confuse comfort with alignment.
I’ve opened multiple businesses over the years,
and what I’m realising now is this: drifting costs more than committing.
When I stay close to what I actually love doing,
I create better work.
I show up with more presence.
I build things that last.
I don’t have the full picture yet and I’m not forcing one.
I’m listening.
Refining.
Creating.
This isn’t a pause.
It’s a recalibration.
More to come.
Cracking morning in the Mourne Mountains.❄️☀️
You can’t connect the dots looking forward.
You can only connect them looking back.
These are the highlight-reel moments.
What’s harder to show are the times that felt frustrating, confusing, or difficult when nothing made sense in the moment.
But those delays weren’t denials.
They were preparation.
It’s all part of the process
the contrast that gives the progress meaning.
Grateful for the lessons.
Moving forward with clarity.
2026 🐎
Always love getting outdoors hiking, running, just moving. But it hits different when you time a good sunrise or sunset.
Final day of 2025
Final sunrise of the year.
What a year it’s been. Highs, lows, and everything in between.
Grateful for the lessons, the setbacks, the wins, and the work.
Genuinely excited for what 2026 has in store.
Wishing you all a healthy, successful, and prosperous 2026. Let’s make it count 🔥
It’s about releasing what doesn’t serve you anymore.
And when I look into this new year, I’m not really
trying to become this whole new person.
I’m just trying to get rid of old habits.
Old loops.
Old patterns.
Old versions of me that once did their job… but now they’re just keeping me stuck.
I don’t feel like I need this “new year, new me” thing. I feel like I need to detach from an old identity.
Because the truth is, we do evolve.
We change.
We grow.
But we still carry a lot of outdated programming with us.
And it’s mad, because a new year is really just a change of date. A change of calendar.
Nothing actually changes if you keep returning to the same behaviours, the same comforts, the same identity.
And listen I’ve struggled with this for a long time.
That’s the hard part about growth.
As you grow, you still carry things with you.
So I think the real questions going into 2026 are:
What do I need to cut off?
What do I need to let go of?
What’s actually holding me back and keeping me where I am?
Some things served their purpose.
They got you to a certain level and that’s fine.
But there comes a point where growth means stripping away who you were so you can fully step into who you’ve already become.
Or…
you stay where you are.
Where it feels familiar.
Where it feels safe.
And that choice takes courage too.
Two years ago, I completed a leg in the Belfast marathon, marking the beginning of my running journey 🏃♂️
Yesterday, I ticked off my fourth full marathon:
- Lisbon 4:12
- Manchester 3:34
- Malaga 3:42
- Belfast 3:06
The marathon is long and often unpredictable.
You must earn your time; nothing is given.
It’s very unforgiving, and I’ve learned this the hard way.
After my second marathon, I gained a lot of confidence, shaving off 48 minutes.
On my third attempt, I went backward.
I started with confidence but was humbled.
I didn’t respect the distance, but I needed that setback to improve.
In a world where everything is quicker and easier.
Marathon training teaches you to have discipline and persistence.
This can be applied to other areas of your life.
There are no shortcuts, and if you skip the training or the work, you’ll be found out.
The good thing is you’re the one in control.
It starts with you.
If you really want it, you can achieve it.
You need to believe in yourself and do the work.
There is no better feeling than setting a goal, putting in the work, and seeing it transform from a dream to reality.
I wanted to create a space where clients can get world class coaching with our team.
A place which is customer focused where you get results whilst enjoying workouts.
