Naarm/Melbourne’s Merpire dropped by Live From Happy to deliver a stunning performance of her latest single ‘Leaving With You’ – a jittery, dream-pop dive into the wild, heart-racing space of a mutual crush.
“Nothing fills you with more energy than your crush being in your vicinity,” says Merpire. “You think about going home… but then they turn up and suddenly you could stay all night.”
Co-produced with James Seymour and featuring drums from Jess Ellwood, the track is the latest taste of Milk Pool, out July 4.
