📍The Trail of Ten Falls is located at Silver Falls State Park.
🚗 This beautiful hike is only an hour from Portland and worth the drive.
🚫 As a PNW native, skip Portland and go enjoy the true beauty of the PNW!
⏱️ This hike is around half 7.4 miles and only 1,200 elevation gain. We stopped to get footage at each stop, and it took us about 4 hours with multiple breaks to grab content.
Silver Falls Hiking Tips:
🥾We started at the North trailhead, it is a smaller parking lot. The South trailhead has a larger parking area.
💧You will walk behind waterfalls, which means you will get wet! If it’s summer time, this will feel great to cool off. If it’s any other time of the year, bring a rain jacket!
💳 You will need to pay $5 unless you have an Oregon State Park pass. You can pay with card at the machines.
🐶 Dogs are not allowed on the main trail.
This is a popular hike and can get very busy! We went on a weekday in the springtime which really helped. If you are going in the summer, go early!
🍪 Bring snacks and water!

One of the most magical spring experiences in Oregon is visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, Oregon.
The views are unreal — picture-perfect rows of tulips with snow-capped Mt. Hood in the distance.
Planning a visit? Here are my tips to help you make the most of it:
-Buy tickets in advance. They limit the number of daily visitors, so book early — especially for weekends and sunrise slots!
-Sunrise entry begins at 5am (and yes, we woke up at 3am to get there!). This ticket also includes one re-entry later in the day.
-Flying a drone? You’ll need a sunrise ticket and a $10 drone pass (also purchased in advance). Flying is only allowed from 5am–8am.
-Dog-friendly farm! Bring your pup to enjoy the flowers with you.
-Bundle up. Even in late April, we were shooting in 37°F temps. Layers are key if you’re going early!
-Explore the whole farm. Don’t stop at the first few rows — the further you walk, the more breathtaking it gets!
This was one of the dreamiest mornings we’ve had in Oregon. 🌲🌷🏔️
