Truth be told, Winter trading is quieter and tough some days.

(And, I can plant as many banksia speciosa and prionotes as I want.)
Funny fact, Mum was the age I am now when they bought Banksia Hill, what was their flower farm close to here.

And, I haven't done a who am I and why I do what I do for 3 years on here.

I'll try and summarise.
I've been doing this Art/Painting thing for 35 years.
Studied it at Uni for 5 years, taught it in High/Primary Schools for a while.
I grew up a happy, country kid on a farm. I was always building cubbies with my brothers, collecting sticks, leaves, rocks; just gathering and making in general.
In 2019 I needed a break from Teaching and I wanted to paint more, so I bought a Shop close to home in Dimboola, country Victoria and where I went to high school.
Now I collect, (paint a lot!) & make and gather stuff for that.
I open it every weekend to the public, and I paint when I'm there.

I work hard, am totally self-funded and I'm committed to making my small business financially viable for hopefully many years to come.
.
That's enough for now.
The pictures will fill in the other gaps.
Grateful for what I get to do and what has always made me tick.
