Either way, it’s that perfect in-between layer — cozy under a winter parka or just right on its own for chilly summer evenings.

Cloud-soft mohair on silk, mixed with bold textures and transparent moments.
I love when contrasts start to talk to each other. Can't wait to cast on a new sweater!

I’ve started a new little sweater for my tiny star, who’s about to turn 2 ✨
This week, I tried to begin a new project, but nothing really worked out.
At the beginning of the week, I went on a short solo trip and had some time to knit on the train — but I ended up unraveling everything I made on the way.
Maybe what I really needed was some fresh, bright colors.
I’d love to write this pattern for ages 4–7.
If you’d like to be a test knitter, let me know! 🧶💛
These are made with garter stitch, which makes them extra cozy and perfect for cold days.
I designed this pattern to be simple, beginner-friendly, and great for using up yarn scraps. No circular needles needed!

Finish half of the right sleeve, weave in the ends and knit pockets - and this one will be finished.
Garter stitch makes this knit really thick and warm like a coat. I would like to felt it slightly as well. So far am happy with the fit. All yarns that I used are from second hand unraveled pieces - electric blue cardigan, lopi sweater, lavender lace kids sweater, light blue pants and scarf for magenta edge!

Learning intarsia brought joy back into my knitting.
My plan was one sweater per month — but summer and December shifted my usual rhythm, and time became scarce.
So I knitted whenever I could.
In the evenings at home.
During my daughter’s naps.
At the beach.
In the car, waiting for my son at practice.
What you don’t see here are the unraveled rows, the thousands and thousands of stitches, the yarn prep, washing, and weaving in ends.
All the quiet work that lives behind these pieces.
And still — I’m grateful for every single one. ✨️

Instead, I wanted to play with textures.
I combined very fine mohair with very thick wool to create contrast.
The mohair sections are sheer — you can see the skin through them — while the wool creates bold, raised, sculptural texture.
Some of the dimensional elements were added later, as post-production, once the sweater was already knitted.
And it all started with a bag of yarn from a second-hand store — someone’s unfinished project (very last video).
I washed the yarn, straightened it, added a little magic… and the sweater was born.

Very relaxed knitting during the Christmas holidays at my parents place.
Modular squares made from unraveled yarn. Fast, easy, and pressure-free.
I’ve always dreamed of a jacket made from a blanket, so I decided to knit a wool jacket that imitates a patchwork quilt. I’m planning to lightly felt the fabric and add a lining, with a fuchsia i-cord edging all around.
Let’s see how it turns out! ✨

I’m so happy you’re here!
If you’re new — welcome to my little slow-making corner of the internet. 🧶
I’m an architect by training, so I’m obsessed with shapes, construction and pieces that feel good both visually and on the body. That’s probably why knitting became my favorite form of building things.
I love wool with a past — second-hand sweaters, leftover yarn, forgotten things that still have a soul. I unravel, rethink, and give them a new life. Less waste, more stories. ♻️
I knit at home in the evenings, in between taking care of my kids, and once a week I go to my separate studio to work on my knitting machine — building garments one loop at a time. ✨
I bake sourdough, grow plants, and raise two little humans — so I deeply believe that all good things take time.
Crafting is my calm, my joy, my way to slow down.
If you enjoy upcycled fiber art, cozy textures, and experiments with color… you’re in the right place. 💛
I’m thrilled to create together with you.
