[ 1-5 ] Ach Oslo, not much to add to that #35mm #olympusxa 🎞️
[ 1-11 ] Random Images from the north that I curated while going through my phone. I have been so overwhelmed of all the content that I see on this platform. The format change of the profile grid really opened my eyes how stupid and trendy oriented this platform got.. I don’t know if I am the only one but I miss seeing photography on this platform. I have no clue how these algorithms work but it was always so comforting to get out of my mind, see some images created by everyone documenting their live out there. I tried to follow so many more photographers over the last year but I barely see their content. I am aware how important all the political debates are, that we had more and more over the last few months.

Shot on different film stocks, cameras, seasons and day times. It feels like a little crumps of memories that keep flashing in front of my eye, during times that I really need them. #35mm
[ 1-6 ] My field trip to Vardo will forever be something special to me. It was also my first attempt of shooting cinestill800t and doing it with my yashica was something special to me. It was freezing cold and I was super inexperienced shooting tungsten light film ( I am still not an expert in that ) but this trip and the topic I worked on opened my eyes to what I want to do in the future. Research and the hunger for solutions awakened in me. For the first time I experienced the true essence of a real winter and extreme cold and I have to admit I started enjoying every day in the cold after that.. the way life slows down but yet invites the most beautiful light, if you are at the right place at the right time. Shot on my dear friend the #yashicamat124g #120film #cinetsill800t
[ 1-6 ] No new film developed, not a lot of time with the camera, yet again remembering my promises to myself that I made to myself to really experience the seasons and not be stuck somewhere in an office looking at a screen for 8-9 hours a day. To not lose that constant urge to explore, to not stop believing that there is hope for the hopeless people currently suffering in the world. All that is thanks to all the experiences I made in nature, in the beauty of colors, textures, moments, and the wonder of light hitting a piece of film in the back of my camera. Maybe I will manage to break the chain of life in a city next year. I’ll leave this as another reminder for myself. Maybe some of you can relate? // #olympusxa #gold200 #35mm
[ 1-10 ] Revisited this place after 4 years. Almost at the same season, just three weeks apart and actually it was crazy how the atmosphere at a place can just change with slight little differences in the landscape. After the wild flowers bloomed the cabins were exposed. Also shooting this on a point and shoot with an umbrella in my hand definitely made me struggle a lot. I didn’t get the expected shots, but that’s what makes it so special to get a shot where everything falls in place. Shot on a #nikonl35awaf #35mm #portra800 🎞️
[ 1-10 ] Gloomy trails and mountains over mountains in the north. My intention was to hike and hike and hike. I think Lofoten is the beste place for that, you just need to find avoid the rain which is funny because you could get caught in it and 20 mins further people could enjoy the sun. That’s how unique yet rough the islands are. Haven’t been really lucky with the weather on my last couple of trips and currently on my way to catch some fall colors and trying to find an opening in the clouds to properly catch some northern lights on film. No matter what as soon as I have my ass on the way to the north I feel like another person detached from all the toxic trades of my city life! Anyways shot on my #olympusxa #35mm and a mixture of #portra400 and #portra800 🎞️
[ 1-5 ] Postcards from Lofoten on Film, gloomy rainy days. Shooting film is a gamble at all points. Sometimes you only get one shot of 10 rolls of film, that you consider as portfolio worth. Slowing down your process, be more careful of what you shoot and what you don’t. I started to be more considered of what is worth the money I spent while shooting film and I feel like it’s having an impact on my creative process / Shot on my #olympusxa #portra400 #35mm 🎞️
[ 1-3 ] The green ferry - Molde area summer 2022 // Shot on 🎞️#mamiya645pro #120film #portra400
[ 1- 2 ] The image // the print. I took this image almost 2 years ago on my road-trip to the area of Jostedalsbreen in mid Norway. It’s probably my favorite image of the trip because it paints the feeling of these couple of days perfectly. I often consider windows as frames of a painting. Especially when they are placed the correct way and open up a world to you. Every time I come into my super small „Harry Potter broom chamber“ kind of room I dive into the feeling of this particular window. Sometimes the sunset light hits this print in a way that it comes to live. Then I wish I could listen to the sound of the ocean that was right in-front of the cabin we had. The sound of the seagulls.. the cold autumn breeze. Me standing there, fishing, having my morning coffee. // Shot on 🎞️ #olympusxa #portra400 #35mm
[ 1-10 ] This is my father and his brother. Let me tell you a story.

I debated for a long time if I want to share these images because they have a lot of sentimental and personal value. I think over the last year I really figured out what I want from life and in what I direction I want my work to go. After getting back these scans I felt so happy not because I did get back nice Scans or good colors but also because I finally felt like all the story’s I tell when I shoot a landscape finally got some meaning. Shooting empty landscapes ( don’t get me wrong I do love to shoot an arctic beach during midnight sun ) didn’t fulfill the feelings I wanted to transmit through my images. I finally felt like this image will tell a story after I might be long gone. The story of my family, of my uncle harvesting hazelnuts in the mountains of the Black Sea. Of the memories I made a as kid, fishing the little creak. Of the summers I spent with my family, my mother my sister. The hazelnuts that we pealed from the shell and brought back to Germany, just to taste a little kind of home during the winter seasons. The taste and smell is literally hitting me while I m writing these words. If you eat a chocolate product that is from that „famous Italien“ company we all know then you might get a glimpse of the taste of these nuts because most of them are coming from these mountains. // Shot on #mamiya645 #portra400 #120film
