The collection of art is our favorite part of this project. It feels very Texas, and brings the outside in. These homeowners have excellent taste and weren’t afraid of anything, and we loved layering a wide mix of art and furnishings from different eras in their home.
Our favorite moment might be the Framed Jean Picard Le Doux tapestry entitled “Concerto,” which nods to the husband‘s love of music. We also love the enlarged a Polaroid of the client’s father from the 1970s which we mounted in the entryway. They are both impactful and meaningful. And that’s what a home should be, an honest and compelling reflection the family who lives there.
