He moved right onto our porch that day. We were instantly enamored with this chunky little tuxedo boy who chose us.
G man, you brought Peter out of the depths of depression after his work accident, as we nursed you back to health after the coyotes dragged you off our porch. You consoled us as I spiraled after we lost Izzy and Javi. When we brought Remy home, so traumatized by who knows what, you immediately bonded with him and made him feel safe. He guarded you faithfully in the weeks before your passing.
With everything you had survived before we met, I’m so glad you got a taste of the good life indoors, as you deeply deserved a safe place to sleep on a heating pad with your belly up and soak up love for all your remaining days. You touched an entire neighborhood, and created new friendships by connecting those who cared for you. Each block of Normal Heights seemed to have a different name for you. To us, you will always be The Gentleman ❤️
