to my gals with — from neon moon coffee runs and tumbleweed lunch dates to art swaps and booth chats, you kept my heart full and my cheeks sore as we laughed through it all (gale force winds included!!)
& to the ladies across — thank you for blessing the property with your wide open doors into your creativity. the few stolen moments I had to walk through your spaces has left my cup running over & over & over
as I quietly unpack my things back in the studio, it is undeniable that I left a small piece of my heart in Texas — so this isn’t a goodbye, but a see you soon

There were flowers throughout the house, friends gathered around tables, flipping cards, calling ‘chambeau!’, a cake adorned with fruit and candles, and toasts both shared and whispered in prayer for just how grateful I am to be here, in the fold of this wondrous life.
As preparations for the party were underway, so was my latest body of work — The Gathered Collection — heralded by the idea that celebration is often accompanied by the act of gathering — of loved ones, of gratitudes, & of flowers.
A prominent feature of the collection is the silhouetted vases, an homage to the many vessels that are omnipresent constituents of our household. Some gifted, most thrifted, and all intentionally transient within the sideboard — waiting to be filled with flowers and sent home with friends.
The words ‘keep the vase’ always accompany the exchange, a standing invitation to the recipient to continue the act of gathering flowers for themselves, or better yet, for others, celebrating life’s moments, both grand and blissfully ordinary.
As a collector, it is my abiding joy to pass on these vessels to each of you, as you mark your own milestones of this wondrous life: unpacking boxes in a new city, answering your calling, taking the leap, crossing the stage, standing at the altar, finishing a chapter, penning a new one, or simply enjoying another lap around the sun.
So keep the vase, my friend, and watch it fill with memory and meaning in the years to come.
