~ The sleeves were too damaged to remain intact, they were tearing more every time I moved my arms and the dress was donated to me to re-work ❤️
~ The fabric from the sleeves (the bits that hadn’t torn) and the sequin flowers were re-purposed into keepsake items for the family who donated the dress. Nothing was wasted.
~ Yes, the ribbon does not match up at the back. It’s a long story, but it’s totally fixable and I’ll amend it in the future. No biggie 😎✌️
❌The red and white also symbolises the colours of the British Red Cross charity which are a very important humanitarian organisation to the original owners of the dress. You can donate to the charity through the link in my bio ❤️

A few of you loved the last wedding dress transformation I did and said you would love a version in black 🖤 This required so much hand sewing I don’t want to know how many hours 🤣🙈 Most if it was done from my sofa because I’ve been a bit run down the last couple of weeks so this helped to keep me distracted!
