2. I don’t bring in services that stress me out just because they are popular. Simply put, I love what I love and I don’t feel the need to expand outside of that, even if it’s in high demand.
3. I stopped trying to be available to everyone. I had to learn this the hard way as for years I wanted to make sure every DM, message, and invite was met with my full attention. Eventually this lead to me not being able to give my full attention to anything at all so something had to change! Now, I honestly do my best when I can but at the end of the day, I’m pretty careful not to spread myself thin.
These are a few of the big things that have helped me love my job! I love being a service provider but I can understand why burn out rates are so high. My goal is to love my job long term but that doesn’t come without some lessons learned along the way. 🫠
