Multichrome eyeshadows shift more colors over a black base because the light is absorbed by the black background and only reflects light from the Multichrom particles.
Mixing a multichrome with a black eyeshadow doesn’t have as strong of a color shift because some of the black eyeshadow particles are actually now blocking the multichromes from reflecting the light at more angles!

Due to social anxiety (and now have been diagnosed with
