MassArt’s 2026 Fashion Show, FOR THE PUBLIC, is this Saturday, May 16!

Featuring senior Fashion Design thesis collections, this high-energy show at the MassArt Design and Media Center brings together bold ideas, personal expression, and the full spectrum of student creativity. Today’s collection preview is by MassArt senior Nico Henriquez, titled “prod me”.

“I was never that into fashion growing up. In a way, that still stands. The more I open up to it, the more complex that relationship becomes,” says Henriquez. “Today, my main mission with sewing has been to create wearable fashion while working with materials that may have otherwise been discarded or forgotten. This is where the art of fashion has guided me.”

FOR THE PUBLIC, MassArt’s 2026 Fashion Show hits the runway Saturday, May 16!

Featuring Fashion Design senior thesis collections, this high-energy show at the MassArt DMC highlights bold ideas, personal expression, and the full spectrum of student creativity. Here’s your next sneak peek by MassArt senior Kenny Cassidy, a Fibers and Fashion Design dual major, from her collection titled “woven with love”.

“Fashion should be fun,” shares Cassidy. “I am focusing on having as much fun in every aspect of this collection, including weaving all fabric on a floor loom since it brings me so much joy. I've found that having fun with fashion leads to discovering what your style is. That’s something I want to share with people, in hopes that it leads people to experiment with their style.”
