With MG, I experience a good amount of full body weakness, which makes it difficult sometimes to go on long outings and be able to physically push myself in my manual chair. I was able to be out for many hours in my power chair and do so much more 🤍

A lot of what’s happening now is not new, but it is heightened since the 2025 presidential election. I’m trying to be vague but also get my points across without my posts being censored… which is another thing happening right now that’s very scary.
While everything feels heavy and scary, I like to help out where I can, volunteer for affected communities. Even though we cannot abolish i c e immediately, we CAN help people who are being targeted.

We had big dreams- to work in theatre together and would talk for hours on end about disability in theatre, what it’s like currently, all that we hoped it could mold and change into for the better. Dream roles, shows, at the core we are theatre kids and we LOVE deeply what we do.
I knew I’d see her on Broadway. She was a true star. This was only the beginning. I’m so glad I got to see her shine in all of her roles even though it wasn’t in person. I’ll miss our theatre rants and hyping each other up before shows, talking about concerts and just random things in life
She was my first disabled theatre friend, and at the time, I was feeling disappointed in how I was being treated in theatre spaces as a newly disabled person. I didn’t want to give up theatre and she gave me hope. We bonded over our love for theatre, being disabled, ali stroker, renee rapp, and so much more. We would hype each other up before each others shows and remind each other we deserved to be in theatre spaces. To take up space period, full stop.
we were so excited to finally meet in person after being long-distance friends for years and I’m so glad that I was able to meet her and hug her in person🥹
Addie was the definition of human sunshine. She radiated joy and love and she will always be so deeply loved. The world feels a little dimmer now without her. I still can’t believe this is real and she’s gone. Love you Addie, rest easy 🤍
