まもなく今年度が終わります。皆さんにとって素晴らしい一年であったことを願っています。
来年度はどんな時代にしますか？
僕は、カメラと僕だけが分かっている写真、たった一つの小さな幸せから、カメラとともに過ごす日常、そして大きな旅の一瞬を大切にするそんな年にしたいと思います！
僕は気づきました。自分にとって好きな写真、日々、カメラと過ごすとは何かを。写真は昔から言っている通り、「光で描いたもの(絵)」、これは大前提に、一瞬という2度訪れない景色、情景、想いを切り取るのはもちろんのこと。誰かを探し、誰かに評価され、批判されるのを恐れない、つまり自分らしい写真というものをより一層確立したい。
一瞬の光を切り取った写真は僕とカメラだけ知っていれば良い。存在した証も、僕という人物も誰かに知ってもらう必要はない。ただ、僕は写真を愛し、カメラと言う相棒と旅をし、この先の人生を歩んでいきたいです！
静かな旅と僕とカメラだけの時間。
追記: Z6Ⅲのラバー剥がれた。Nikonさん、Fマウントより弱くないですか？11年Nikon使ってるけど、、笑

2年ぶりに恵比寿ガーデンプレイスタワーから東京タワーを撮影してきた。この場所は昭和なレトロ感があり雰囲気があって好きなんだけど、なかなか行けなかったのはこの展望室は三脚等、固定した撮影が禁止なためです。
僕のD7500は一眼レフのためレンズシフト方式でしかブレを打ち消せない、つまり最大でも4.5段相当しか防げず、手持ちではシャッタースピードを稼げないため高感度ノイズを取るか、手ブレをさせるのか、2択と言う状況でしばらく撮影は行けてなかった。
ただZ6Ⅲを買ってからはセンサーシフト方式5軸8.0段補正により、レンズシフトが不可能な回転軸、x, y軸の補正が可能でより高い歩留まりを確保しながら、より低速シャッタスピードでの撮影を可能にし、手ブレを軽減しながら高感度ノイズを抑えられる、まさにミラーレスならではのブレに対する制御により手持ちでもブレない撮影が可能になりました！
Z6Ⅲは理論上、1/焦点距離 secから8.0段分、シャッタースピードを低速にできるため、ある一定の照度環境、特に東京など大都会であれば手持ちでも十分な光量があるため現在の高い手ぶれ補正を実現しているミラーレスでは手持ち低速シャッターでの撮影も可能です。
レタッチ、編集も一新したのでこの一枚を楽しんで見ていただけると嬉しいです！

久しぶりに自分自身のレタッチ、編集の仕方を変えてみました！大きくは変えず、より自然な明度、色味、景色に近づけながら、カメラが写し出す光を重視、そこに自分らしさという唯一の表現を付け加えた編集にしました。
写真は「光で描くもの(絵)」であり、その場に存在する光、撮像素子が受け取った光を主軸に自分らしさを追加し表現する。それこそが写真であり、撮影する者としての唯一の表現であると考えました！
何ごともそうですが、立ち止まり悩むことも非常に重要だと感じました。本当にそれが僕らしさなのか、写真とは何なのか、カメラの意義とは、編集の仕方はそれで良いのか。普段は考えずに突き進んでしまうけど、今回の旅はそんな自分自身が写真、カメラにどう向き合うのかを今一度、考えることができました！
僕にとって写真、カメラはただの趣味です。だから仕事にすることはこの先永遠にありません。だけど本気で向き合って、その本質を学び、撮影し続けたい。
カメラを使い撮影するからにはやはりその歴史や本質を知りたい。僕は今年、カメラ撮影が11年になりました！この先もより一層、自分らしさを大事にカメラ、写真に向き合います！

今年か来年かに望遠レンズを買おうと考えてるけど、NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR Sと180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VRでかなり悩んでるんですよね。600mm単Sとも悩んだんですが、焦点距離の柔軟性を重視した撮影を僕はよく行うため、今回もズームレンズにします！単焦点の魅力は解像度の高さで、球面収差や色収差、像面湾曲や歪曲収差など、焦点距離が変わらないため高い補正により、描写力の良いレンズになりやすくかなり魅力なんですが、Zマウントのレンズはマウント径55mm、フランジバック16mm設計でレンズ光学設計の自由度が高く、レンズ後群で入射光が急激に屈折しにくいため周辺まで高い解像度を実現しやすく、周辺減光改善などズームレンズでも非常に描写力の高いレンズが多くあります。
また、僕が使用しているZ6Ⅲは24.5MPであり、わずかな解像度差や描写面の違いでは、その差を描写するほどの解像度がない(画素ピッチが狭い)ためどのレンズでも実用上問題ないと感じています。
そのため100-400mmも180-600mmも広角端、望遠端が異なり単純な比較はできませんが、Z6Ⅲで使用する場合、どちらも十分な解像度です。ただ100-400mmはやはりS-Lineで、色収差補正に使用される特殊低分散ガラスの多用により、色再現性や色かぶりなどを色に対するアプローチは軍配が上がりますね。また僕自身、持ち運びの機動性、コンパクトさや軽量設計なども重視するので、やはり100-400mmの方が僕には合ってるかなと思ってます！
まだ時間あるので詳しく比較していきます！僕はカメラやレンズ、周辺機器などに関しては価格は気にしません！笑

久しぶりに投稿。
かなり前にZ6Ⅲに関するnoteを書いてはいるんだけどまだ完成していない。このZ6Ⅲに使用されている撮像素子、部分積層型センサーの読み出し速度がRAW 14bit撮影で1/70秒、12bit撮影後カメラ内現像JPEG8bitのみ(ハイスピードフレームキャプチャー+など)では、読み出し速度が約1/90秒、さらに16:9フルフレーム撮影6K60p、6Kオーバーサンプリング4K60pなどではアスペクト比による使用画素数の減少によりさらに高速の1/107秒で読み出しを可能にしている。
このZ6Ⅲに使用される部分積層型センサーは14bit、12bitなど階調数に応じて読み出し速度が変わる。これは積層型や単一層裏面照射型などでは見せない挙動であり、非常に興味深い撮像素子である！
積層型の場合、フォトダイオード(受光部)、高速処理回路層、DRAM、安定した転送という流れにより静止画の場合、高速な読み出しを実現。一時的に高速で読み出した膨大なデータをDRAMに記録、その後、安定した速度で画像処理エンジンに転送される仕組みのため、バッファ詰まりを解消しつつ、高速な読み出し、そしてそれに伴い病患あたりのコマ数増加を両立している。
Z6Ⅲに使用されている部分積層型の場合、撮像素子の上下に高速な処理回路を部分的に設け、読み出し速度を速めている。ただし一時内部記録DRAMは非搭載であると考えられ、読み出されたデータは直後に画像処理エンジンに転送される仕組みである。コストを削減でき、さらに読み出しを裏面照射型かつ同画素数よりも3、4倍近い高速化を実現できるという、現代のミラーレスの新たなスタンダード、ミドルクラスの撮像素子であると考えられる。
ちなみにZ6Ⅲのダイナミックレンジは裏面照射型と比較するとわずかに低下、ハイライト側は変わらず、シャドウ部のダイナミックレンジが狭くなっているため、RAW14bitなど編集でシャドウをかなり持ち上げた場合に差が発生すると考えられるが、基本的に撮像時代に差はなく、僕自身も撮影していて違和感はない。
このような感じで僕はカメラがかなり好きでZ6ⅢやNikon、SONY、キヤノンを中心にあらゆるカメラの構造を調べてます！笑
あんまり僕みたいな人はいないんだよな。

去年末111周年を迎えた東京駅
長い歴史、伝統は変わりゆく丸の内、八重洲、日本橋を前にしても一切変わらない。どの角度から見ても美しい姿、歴史ある建築と現代の高層ビルとのコントラスト、そんな東京駅が僕は大好きです。
僕、かなり建築が好きで見た目も好きなんですが、構造自体を観察するのがかなり好きです。東京駅は大正12年、時計の時が一斉に止まった大震災にも耐え、あらゆる過酷な時代にも耐えた構造で、2012年には免震構造を取り入れ、300台を超える積層ゴム、150台近い油圧式ダンパーにより今後必ず起こる直下型、大地震にも耐え、数百年先まで現存させるという取り組みもされています！
ちなみに僕は北自由通路にあるエキスパンションジョイントが好きです！笑

2025年もあと数時間で幕を閉じますね。
僕にとってはあんまり良い年ではなかった。むしろ最悪な年。だけどカメラ、写真に関しては新たな気づきや成長を感じられるそんな年だったし、Nikon機による本格的な撮影からちょうど10年の節目であり、僕と写真にとっては大切な年でした。
Nikon Z6Ⅲとともに撮影して1年。カメラの進化を感じられ、またカメラの本質や存在意義を改めて考えることができました。このスマホカメラ社会かつAI生成データの時代においても、このカメラでしか切り取れない良さ、撮影する感覚、ファインダー越しに見える世界、シャッターを切ったその瞬間の思い出、ともに過ごした日々、それら全てはこの先の時代が加速し進もうとも変わらない良さなんだと感じました。
やっぱカメラは良いね。ポートレート、スナップ、テーブルフォト、風景、建築、夜景、動体などあらゆる被写体、環境でその都度どう撮影するかを考え、失敗や悔しさもあるが、最高の瞬間、奇跡的な一枚を撮影できた時の喜び、感動は撮影する我々とカメラにしか分からない良さですよね。
レンズが光を集め画角を調整、撮像素子が受光、位相差を用いたAFもマニュアルによるフォーカスも、その光を見て構図を決め、撮影位置、レフ板、照明により光を操り、シャッターを切って撮像する。写真はどんな瞬間もその光を第一に創り上げていく。光なくして撮影はできないし、この光をどう描写し表現するか、それを撮影する者は常に考えないといけないね。
「写真は光で描くもの(絵)」これはこの先より一層、大切になる考えだと10年以上撮影してきて感じたし、特にこの1年は強く感じた僕の大切なことだよ。ぜひ知っていてほしいな。
10年前、本格的なカメラに出会って良かった。次の20年、30年もきっと僕とカメラだけの素晴らしい日々が続くと思うな。
