Este año no quería oír hablar de Navidad. No ha sido un buen año. Me estaba confundiendo de enfoque, dirigiendo mi mirada hacia donde no era. Cuando nos centramos en lo negativo es fácil entrar en un bucle de victimismo y dolor que nos impide ver todo aquello por lo que estar agradecidos. Poco a poco, casi sin darme cuenta, he cambiado mi mirada y la he dirigido hacia todo aquello que me hace sentir afortunada.
Cambiar el foco cuesta mucho, pero es un ejercicio por el que merece la pena entrenar, os lo aseguro, entrenar a nuestro corazón para reconocer todo lo bueno que hay en nuestras vidas, para reconocer quien sí y quien no, qué sí y qué no.
Y así, entrenando a mi corazón y a mi mirada para RECONOCER y AGRADECER ha vuelto la Navidad.

Me preguntáis a menudo por qué ya no entreno tanto por montaña. Y la respuesta es sencilla: porque tras la lesión que me provocaron en el nervio, mi estabilidad en la pierna izquierda es muy pobre. Cada salida por montaña es un riesgo alto de esguince o algo peor. Pero sigo trabajando. Porque amo la montaña y perderme en ellas. Es más, este domingo vuelvo a la pedriza y ruta larga 💚🐺

Comenzamos con 3km caminando controlados y no competitivos (por razones medioambientales) + 26,7km de tramo competitivo.
Estoy súper orgullosa de mi carrera: fue la etapa de más calor, abrasador. Cada uno de los tres avituallamientos de agua eran como un oasis, pero mi cuerpo gestiona increíblemente bien el calor. A pesar de llevar 91km en las piernas, varios días en autosuficiencia alimentaria y durmiendo mal en la tienda, me encontraba fuerte, con mente positiva y muy concentrada. No me dolía el pie, y eso es una fiesta. Gestioné perfectamente mi hidratación y nutrición de carrera. Creo que todo lo que dependía de mi lo hice bien.
Fue la etapa más bonita, el paisaje maravillosamente bello de principio o fin. Había tramos que me teletransportaron a mis carreras por los desiertos de Dubái y el Sáhara, y volví a sentirme afortunada, a sentirme exactamente donde quería estar.
A pocos metros del arco final se agolparon en mi cabeza demasiados momentos de esfuerzo en mi último año para poder estar ahí, esa meta era para mí mucho más que una línea física. Era una meta de vida. Lo había logrado. Me propuse trabajar duro para volver a lo que me gustaba, y allí estaba, atravesando ese arco que hace solo unos meses veía tan tan lejano.
