Some love stories begin quietly.
Ale and Analisse first met at school. They had always known of each other — they even sat behind one another in their Business Studies class — yet somehow never spoke for an entire year.
It wasn’t until they were coincidentally placed together at their Year 12 retreat that they finally started talking. The connection was immediate… and they haven’t stopped talking since.
Years later, their story came full circle with a beautiful wedding celebration surrounded by family and friends.
Their day began with a heartfelt ceremony at St Benedict’s Church in Smithfield (where they greeted their beloved dog Lily as husband + wife), before guests gathered for an elegant reception at Miramare Gardens.
As an event planner, Analisse had always dreamed of planning her own wedding and her skills in this area were finally put to excellent use.
For brides to be in the planning process, she says “The two biggest pieces of advice I have are - organisation is key and don’t let yourself become overwhelmed - simple but true”.
And on the wedding day? “Just be sure to take it all in, live in the moment and don’t sweat the small things. Also, importantly, carve out time to spend just the two of you amongst all the craziness and excitement”
Ale + Analisse planned a fun and memorable reception, which even included alpacas joining them during their photoshoot at Miramare Gardens! Guests were treated to unforgettable entertainment throughout the evening, including Violin by Mel, DJ Danilo, roaming cannoli and the lively sounds of Italian accordion, ensuring the dance floor was never empty.
When it came to choosing their photographer, Analisse says:
“I’ve been obsessed with Mark’s work for years after seeing him capture so many of our family and friends’ weddings. He has a unique ability to photograph people so naturally that every emotion can be felt through the images.”
