Austin had this planned for months!! Back home, we had gotten together a few times to talk about the proposal and the vision he had. His sister was the one getting married in Italy and he thought it was the perfect way to end the weekend! He thought of everything; he wanted to do it on a boat since they sail together on their lake at home, and he wanted to include their family. After the proposal he revealed a bouquet of her favorite flowers, sunflowers 🌻 When you thought it couldn’t get more magical, you saw both of their families arriving to celebrate. It couldn’t have been more perfect and I’m so honored that he asked me to capture this moment. Congratulations friends 🤍

meet Orvil + Gertie. Orvil was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2017 but you wouldn’t know by the smile permanently planted on his face. they will be married 66 years in November and are still in love as ever. they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. this is truly the kind of love everyone wants.

typically I’ll smooth the skin of my clients, but this time I couldn’t get myself to do it. there’s 88 years of stories in their white hair and those wrinkles. they earned that.
