There are lots of emotions in this bronze medal and I am still figuring out how I feel about it all.
I canโt really describe how difficult it was to hold on to the magical olympic feeling after our coaches were put into quarantine.
I had to shut down all of my emotions and anxiety to be able to row my best race ever - and in all honesty, these emotions are still a bit all over the place.
Losing a gold medal in the last 4 strokes is also something I am processing.
That said, I can look back and know that I took on every single challenge, both at the Olympics and during the last two covid years. I am extremely proud of how we handled the situation and how we stood there as a team.
Now itโs time for me to enjoy all the hugs from my friends and family and feel proud of this bronze medal. ๐งก

Been a weird couple of days when we heard our coach was tested positive ๐ this is not what I expected from the Olympic feeling, but now we are here we better make the best out of it ๐ฆ legs down heads up ๐ฆ
Once we get to the start line nothing is going to stop us from enjoying the racing and put our legs down for a spot in the final ๐ฆ๐ฆ more than proud and nothing to loose if you ask me ๐งก
