Should I cut my hair like this?
You are living your precious life with big ambitions to make it better: work-home-work, occasionally vacation, again work-home. One day you end up in hospital, thanks God our medicine is advanced nowadays (antibiotics save), and then you think is that it? How would I live different if I could. You know what? I wouldn’t I’d still do the same, act the same feel the same!!!! There are no regrets like others say, because I already live my life honestly and put all my heart into everything and everyone I interact with. That’s true, If your intentions are pure you have no regrets in life.
Being admitted to hospital reminded me times when I was fighting with my mom against her disease. 7 long years, surgery, radiotherapy, chemos, probably entire year in hospital if put together all the visits and stays. Maybe litters of tears but never hopelessness, always thinking straight acting fast and efficient. Disease won but I know If not the fight there would never be 7 years, max 2 as doctors said. Was it worth it - of course, was it difficult- incredibly, did I have support - mostly Not! I learnt to fight for every sphere of my life: better quality of life, better jobs, happier relationships, for healing from old patterns and traumas...
I always pushed myself to the max and did my best to make everything right. Yes I might have been too hard on others but mostly on myself. My resilience is very strong. However, times come when I also need to rest and let someone to take care of me, let it be the universe.
I’ll release the grip, less pressure and control. I’ll still continue with my best intentions and efforts but in a lighter form this time, more trust and integrity.
