This year marked 10 years of my aviation photography journey and this account - something that started as a hobby, slowly became a huge part of my life and still is today.
One of my highlights was flying into Manchester Airport during my instrument training. MAN has been a central part of my aviation journey from the beginning, and to be supported by the teams across the business and even featured on their socials, genuinely means a lot. In addition, the support you have all shown the reel has been touching and I am glad I could share an insight to you all into the work that pilots and ATC do! 😁✈️
Professionally, this year also marked the end of my initial flight training and the achievement of my fATPL and receiving the famous blue book with my commercial licence, the result of hard work behind the scenes and a lot of ups and downs (no pun intended!) 🥳✈️
And then there was Dubai Airshow. My first international airshow, and an experience that was simply amazing - especially seeing the 777X up close and in the flying display after years of waiting 🤩

This flight was part of my training towards my Instrument Rating and took a lot of planning from myself and of course the teams at and - I am grateful for the opportunity and it is one I will truly never forget ✈️
Departing from Oxford, where I’m currently training at, we headed north and were eventually picked up by Manchester Radar for vectors to the ILS approach for Runway 23R. Trying to contain my excitement was tough, but I’m glad to have this video to relive those moments of genuine excitement 🤩 Shoutout to the crew for waving back! 👋🏽
Doing this flight really cemented why I’m doing this, it truly is the best feeling in the world and it is surreal to think the next time I do this, it will be with passengers! 🤭

What started as a small hobby back in 2015 has grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined. From those early days learning how to use a camera at Manchester, to being invited airside and capturing some of my favourite moments - it’s been an incredible journey.
Across these ten years, I’ve been lucky to photograph everything from rare visitors and airline events to everyday movements that remind me why I love this hobby so much. And while the aircraft are always a highlight, it’s the people, memories and experiences along the way that have truly made it special 💙
Looking back, it’s amazing to see how much my photography and the opportunities that came with it have grown through learning, patience and support from this amazing community. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s followed along, liked, commented, and shared the passion over the years 🙏🏽
