本日はいよいよ寒風陶芸会館にて

全国から考古学関係者のみなさんがお集まりになります
そこで制作実演するための甕制作
須恵器甕は丸底
今日はその工程を見ていただければと

夜はその流れで親睦会🍺
そいでいよいよ明日はある県大会‼️
楽しくてドキドキの連続であります
個展荷造りも忘れないように😅
窯出しの風景
大きく土と焚き方を変えた今回の窯
雨の影響も少しあったでしょうか
胡麻の景色の変化が楽しみだった今回
ほぼ狙い通りのものとなりました
これまでの私の備前とはまた違ったものとなりました
須恵器を焼き出して
酸化と還元
また冷まし方など
気になる事がたくさん
またひとつひとつと気になる事を潰していく作業ご続きそうです
これまでの土でも作ってますが
その土もこんな表情を見せるんだと
改めて窯焚きの面白さを発見した窯となりました

熱々出しました
雨の影響？

まずは大きな割れもなく無事焼き上がってました

ある研究会用の制作動画なものでお許しください
あと２回ぐらいで完成するかと
最後の工程は週末の須恵器甕研究会現地での制作となります

須恵器甕制作動画その②
1日乾燥させて
まずは叩きます
基本はリズミカルに🎵
この時点で昨日紐作りした部分を薄く叩き伸ばしておきます
そして新たな紐を2段足して本日は終了
ずーっと雨が降ってるので乾燥が悪く
叩くと柔らかくなるので
もう少し硬くなってて欲しいのですが
自然が相手、なかなか上手くいきません
あ、窯の方は順調です😊
窯焚き中の制作動画
須恵器甕制作動画その①
7月初めにある須恵器の研究会があります
全国各地から関係者さんが牛窓に集まります
その中で須恵器甕の制作実演の担当をさせていただきます
ので、あらかじめ制作途中の
（お料理番組の煮込む前と煮込んだ後みたいな感じで）
段階のものが必要となりますので
順を追って時間差での制作開始となります
これはわたしが思う須恵器甕の作り方です
考古学的にはいろいろな説がございます
あくまでもひとつの案としてご理解ください
全体の制作の流れを見ていただくのには
こちらに制作過程を残しておけばと
時間もかかりますので4倍速にて
まずは、胴の最大径あたりから底部に向かっての逆さまづくりの初日です
少し叩いてみましたが
やはりまだ柔らかいので叩きは少々で終わります
これから段階を経て連続しての制作動画となります

台風の動きが気になりながらも
朝から美味しい和菓子
紫陽花に雨粒のお菓子でしょうか
優しい甘さ
さすがみづゑさんです
このところの窯焚きは静かなスタート
窯焚きを大きなイベントにしたくなくて
できれば制作の延長線上にあるちょっとした日常になればと
一年に一度のここぞとイベント化してしまうと
思い切った事ができずに
無難に無難にと失敗しないように守りに入ってしまいます
結果、いつもと変わらぬものしか焼けません
そうなると創作ではなくただの作業となります
性格的にこれでは面白くないので
ここ数年
窯を焚きまくりました
この4年で30回以上
焚き方もいろいろ
これまで教えを受けてきたものとは正反対の焚き方になってるように思います
理屈でもなく
温度計の数字でもなく
日数でも窯の大きさでもなく
どんな状況でもまず身体が反応して対処する
理想ですけどね
今回も台風というエッセンスを取り込んで
面白いものが焼ければと
まずは48時間勤務
