Thereās a few people I would like to acknowledge who were instrumental in supporting me to birth this way. Itās true it takes a village and mine was sizeable!
To my beautiful midwives and colleagues and. Your love and support gave me all the confidence I needed to keep going in labour. I will be eternally grateful for the gift of your presence and care.
To the rest of my wonderful team for supporting me to work to 38 weeks when there were clients I couldnāt bear to miss, being so excited for this baby every step of the way and a million other things.
To Rebecca Lovett, my osteo and friend. We started preparing for this babe long before she was even conceived. You always think outside the box and kept me going physically through the whole pregnancy!
To - you helped me let go of some of the last few bits of baggage I was carrying around before this birth.
To my mum and sister for being there and supporting the boys to be there too- and sorting the pool out and making sure everyone ate!
To for hoping I wouldnāt need him but backing me up anyway. Knowing that if I needed to transfer I had someone I trusted at the other end was a huge source of peace for me.
