Pour offrir aux artistes de Gaza et à leurs familles un séjour d’un à deux ans en France, dans le cadre de résidences artistiques appropriés à leurs besoins, ils seront accueillis par des structures culturelles ou universitaires, en partenariat avec le programme PAUSE du Collège de France et Campus France pour les étudiants.
L’ACTION DE MAAN FOR GAZA
Depuis 2 ans, le collectif Ma’an a monté des résidences pour 51 artistes de Gaza; dans des musées, des centres d’arts, des écoles d’art, dans des universités, dans des grandes écoles françaises.
26 artistes ont pu être évacué·es en France pour y travailler dans le cadre de résidences avec les organisations et institutions partenaires. Les familles ont également été évacué·es, soit + de 150 personnes mises à l’abri à ce jour.
25 autres artistes, lauréat·es de PAUSE et étudiant·es, avec des institutions prêtes à les accueillir, mais en attente du déblocage des évacuations par les gouvernements pour sortir de Gaza.
