1. Make sure your Hijab material is NON SLIP! This is very important.
2. CHOOSE your jewelry WISELY! Jewellery can cover up so much and still look so beautiful. Please choose soft jewelry that can be worn easily. Gives a MUCH beautiful look than hard ones and it helps the process of covering up.
3. Wear an undercap (soft bamboo ones work best). Better to have the ones with a tie knot in the back so you can adjust the tightness and keep it in its place.
4. Color match your Hijab fabric to your main head dupatta. This looks MUCH better than having different colors.
5. Use double sided body tape to stick your Hijab to your skin so it stays in place.

1. If you’re doing a customized dress, make sure to ask the designer to do a higher neck for you (maybe with a button or zipper in the back). I had asked the same unfortunately my designer made a mistake:))

3. If you end up in a situation like mine where you planned and planned but the dresses did not end up modest enough. Use either of the methods I mentioned above. It’s super easy to fix ANYTHING!
4. I stitched the neck piece from my local tailor. Take a screenshot of where I show the neck and get it stitched.
5. PLEASE make sure if you’re covering your neck with extra fabric, color match it!
6. If you’re shortening your dress (like I did my wedding dress) you can ask the designer to use that fabric (if the embroidery matches) to cover up some extra portion of the chest. I did the same with my wedding dress and then had to use small fabrics to cover just my neck (the chest was covered by dress fabric)
