Also can we talk about how DIFFERENT two phones can capture makeup?! 😂 Photos 1 & 3 were taken on my iPhone 14 in cooler lighting, while photos 2 & 4 were taken on my iPhone 16 in warmer lighting. When it came time to create my branding, I knew I wanted it to truly reflect me—my journey and how I became a bridal makeup artist.
Let’s rewind 12 years. At 20 years old, I was a new mom who needed to make money fast, so I started serving tables at a high-end steakhouse. I loved the customer service side of it, but deep down, I knew I needed more. Over the next nine years, I tried different jobs, but I always found myself back in fine dining for the flexibility—until I finally stopped ignoring that little voice and decided to go all in on makeup.
Now, with 12 years of customer service experience and my passion for beauty, I’ve created the Makeup by Perla experience—where attention to detail and luxury service come together. And trust me, we’re just getting started!
