Wat een heerlijke verjaardagsweek was dit. Het weekend ervoor vierde ik mijn verjaardag met m’n familie en lieve omaatje en op mijn verjaardag zelf kwam mijn beste vriendin logeren en zijn we naar de kapper geweest (wat vinden jullie van mijn nieuwe haar?), zijn we naar de prachtige winkel geweest en kwamen m’n ouders naar de stad om te lunchen en te shoppen. Vrijdag gezellig drankjes gedaan en zaterdag uiteten geweest bij een Japans restaurant. Ik ben zo dankbaar voor de lieve mensen om me heen. Dit jaar ga ik nog meer genieten van alle momenten en vaker zeggen tegen de mensen om me heen hoeveel ze voor mij betekenen 🫶🏻
Fijne nieuwe week lieverds!
Zes jaar geleden precies op deze dag, op mijn 30e verjaardag, deed ik een bod op dit huis. En in de middag hoorde ik dat ik het was geworden. Ik was zo blij en nog steeds zó trots dat ik dit in mijn uppie heb kunnen doen. Het is echt mijn thuis geworden, echt maison de Manon🤎
Vandaag begin ik de dag bij de kapper (en hoe leuk, mijn kapper is ook jarig vandaag ☺️). Daarna gezellig met m’n beste vriendin naar de stad, lekker lunchen en een beetje shoppen. En m’n ouders komen ook nog gezellig langs. Helemaal zin in deze dag! Fijne dag voor jullie lieverds!

Ik heb laatst weer een vintage parel gevonden: dit tijdschriftenrek. Alleen zaten er hier en daar wat roestplekjes op… zonde, want hij is echt té leuk toch?
Dus gaf ik ’m een tweede leven met de ‘direct op roest metaalverf’ van. En kijk nou… hij is weer helemaal als nieuw! 🤍

Dit is nog steeds een van mijn favoriete DIY’s. Ik was al een tijd op zoek naar opbergruimte maar alle kasten die ik mooi vond, waren zo duur. En toen zag ik dit en dacht ik, yesss let’s do it! Mocht je op zoek zijn naar opbergruimte, maar niet te veel geld willen uitgeven, check deze hack.
Dit is wat ik heb gebruikt:
- 3x IKEA Billy boekenkasten (80x28x106 cm)
- 6x IKEA Billy extra planken (76x26cm)
- 6x IKEA Utrusta drukbeslag
- 12x Hornbach scharnieren
Hoe heb ik dit gedaan:
- Volg de IKEA instructies om de kasten in elkaar te zetten.
- Monteer het Utrusta drukbeslag door de gaatjes aan de binnenkant van de kasten te gebruiken (foto 3)
- Plaats 2 extra planken op de grond en boor gaatjes om de scharnieren te monteren. De onderste plank is de deur en de bovenste plank leg je als plank in de kast (foto 5).
- Voor de veiligheid heb ik de planken aan de achterkant met een schroef vastgemaakt zodat de planken niet kunnen verplaatsen (foto 6).
- Et voila, je hebt Billy kasten met deurtjes.
