If youโre looking to ski โท๏ธ and have fun, definitely drive to Titlis, but the weather can be tricky, so definitely have a backup day, just in case.

For the evening, check out Widder Bar which is located in a historic building. Widder Bar was selected in the Top-50 Best Discovery Bars, the worldโs best place to go when you want to try something unique and creative ๐ธ๐

Also, another great spot for unique cocktails is Bar Am Wasser (recommended by Dolder Grand), must say the menu is pretty sick ๐ฅ - Apple Martinis, Old Fashion with Bacon ๐ฅ & Habanero Negroni

Most of the time, I order a glass of champagne ๐ฅ, but if I choose a cocktail, these are it:

1. For a long time, my go-to was an Espresso Martini; it was my life, haha. That said, my first choice now is always a straight-up Negroni, oh, and I always ask for it in a martini glass. I feel it adds a bit of a special touch.
2. Espresso Martini (half sweet). Iโd normally skip dessert and order myself an espresso martini.
3. Extra dirty martini with 3 olives ๐ซ, or if Iโm at Hazelton, itโs definitely a martini with stuffed blue cheese olives - omg, nothing beats that.

Occasionally, Iโd ask for an Amaretto Sour in a martini glass, of course ๐

Our Day 1 itinerary looked like that:

We stopped at the worldโs largest chocolate museum The Home of Chocolate

Highly recommend to book yourself a chocolate class and create your own โmasterpieceโ. After that stroll through the chocolate museum and play some interactive games. Class > Museum 100%

Explore Zurichโs Old Town - narrow streets, historic buildings and lots of small shops.

And for lunch stop by for some cheese ๐ซ fondue and a ๐ท. The menu is omg ๐-> large, anything you can think of. I went with a classic Swiss Fondue.

At night we visited the Interactive Light Show in a historic church. Honestly, the feeling is simply amazing ๐คฉ. Laying on the floor, listening to classic music and watching lights dance around was kinda magical.

Finish up the night with a stop at the bar. One of the best bars in Zurich located in the old town that offers more than 1200 rare spirits. The Old Crow also specializes in mixing their own unique cocktails such as Chocolate Punch (it was delicious, reminded me of a chocolate milkshake), Downtown Switzerland (Campari, Vermouth, Champagne and a touch of cherry), oh and letโs not forget their own twist Espresso Martini ๐ธ

It feels like staying in a world-class museum with over 100 pieces of different art by Dali, Warhol, and others. If you want to learn more, thereโs an interactive art tour for guests. Just scan a QR code to learn more about the art.

The artwork isnโt just in the lobby, restaurants, or halls but in the rooms too. Imagine finding a hand-signed electric guitar by the Rolling Stones in one of the suites (swipe to see ๐).

But letโs pause here because the Dolder Grand isnโt just known for its incredible art collection. Itโs also home to one of the largest hotel spas in Europe ๐คฉ. The Dolder Grand Spa spans about 4,000 sq meters, offering everything your soul desires: steam rooms, saunas, a snow room (yep, you can make a snowman โ๏ธ in a bikini at -15C) ๐, hot and cold tubs (both indoors and outdoors), jacuzzis, a massive pool, and my ultimate favorite, a tub filled with small heated stones. I actually fell asleep there for about 1.5h after my massage, haha.

They remember small details, like personal traditions, with cookies ๐ช waiting in your room upon arrival. They notice which glass you prefer for your drink, on any requests you always get one answer โOf course, anything is possibleโ tell me itโs not what you want to hear while asking something ridiculous. They return your washed and folded t-shirt to your closet in 30 mins, set up navigation for a road trip, and bring everything you need: coffee, water and snacks. Oh and if you ever need a vape at 11pm? They have that too and personally deliver to your room. If you forget something on the way to the airport (like we did) call them back and their driver delivers it in exactly 11 mins. When they say X amount of minutes it is legit be like that.. not more or less.

There is that peace everywhere you go.. Little houses surrounded by nothing but the greenery and snow-capped mountains. The rays of sun add this magical touch to everything. Iโve always dreamed about seeing Switzerland. The nature, charming houses, endless green fields, and yesssss we must not forget about the cow ๐ roaming in the distance.
