🧵 5 tips om pailletten te naaien (zonder stress):
1️⃣ Gebruik een nieuwe, sterke naald
Een jeansnaald (of zelfs een ledernaald) werkt hier prima.
Pailletten zijn meedogenloos.
2️⃣ Verwijder zoveel mogelijk pailletten uit de naadwaarde. Gewoon wegknippen of lostornen: het stikt mooier en je naald gaat langer mee.
3️⃣ Naai traag. Echt traag.
Dit is geen wedstrijd.
Laat de machine doen wat ze moet doen en dwing niks.
4️⃣ Hou het simpel qua steek.
Een rechte steek of een lichte zigzag is perfect.
Geen fancy steken nodig, de stof schittert al genoeg.
5️⃣ Voer de stof of gebruik een beleg. Pailletten kunnen kriebelen.
Een zachte voering of een goed beleg maakt echt het verschil in draagcomfort.

Veel werk, keiveel gedaan, en ongelooflijk plezant.
Zo’n dag waarop ik mezelf even in mijn wang knijp en denk: amai, wat heb ik een geluk met de mensen rondom mij. Mijn team, mijn vriendinnen, samen lachen, samen vooruit! Dankbaar! 🫶
En intussen kwamen ze nog één laatste keer binnen deze winter:
onze zachte, vormvast gebreide stoffen.
Misschien lukt er later nog één kleur, heel misschien… maar zoals het er nu uitziet, was dit het voor dit seizoen.
Wie ze al in huis heeft, weet perfect waarom wij er zo zot van zijn.
