올해의 마지막 시합인 전국체전을 마무리하고 이제야 탄을 씻고 나왔는데.. 아직도 지금 저에게 무슨 일이 벌어진 것인지 어안이 벙벙합니다.
.
개인적인 목표로 30살이 될때엔 꼭 체전에서 메달을 목에 걸수 있도록 열심히 하자고 생각하며 훈련하고 지내왔었는데.. 그 목표를 이룰 수 있어서 말로 표현 할 수 없을 정도로 너무나 기쁩니다.
.
올해 6월에 상완이두근 장두완전파열과 관절와순파열 부상을 갖게되면서 변형된 이두의 모양과 수술을 해야한다는 진단을 받았었습니다.
.
이제 선수생활을 할 수 없는 것인가 너무나 두렵고 힘들어서 내려놓으려고 했었습니다
.
그럼에도 이렇게 내가 사랑하는 운동, 보디빌딩을 포기하고 싶지 않았고, 그래서 그만큼 더 절실히 열심히 하고싶었습니다.
시합을 준비하는 과정 중에 주변이나 SNS에 부상얘기를 하게 되면 실패하거나 안좋은 성적을 받았을때 스스로 변명의 도구가 된다고 생각 하였기에 이 부분이 더 절실하게 준비해야 하는 이유가 된 것 같습니다.

전국체전 -80kg 3위 동메달이라는 너무나 값지고 의미있는 상을 받아서 너무나 기쁘고 좌절하고 싶을때마다 저를 이끌어준 친구들 그리고 모던헬스팀들 그리고 형 누나 동생 그리고 우리 인천시보디빌딩협회 인천시설공단 팀 선배님 형님들 그리고 감독님께 감사의 말 전합니다!!

앞으로 오늘의 성적의 계기로 끝이라고 생각하지 않고 더 열심히 그러나 조급하지않고 천천히 더 발전할 수 있는 선수가 되겠습니다!
