It’s the little things that turn a session into a story and full of memories —
the field of wishes waiting to be blown into the sky,
the tiny fringe vest that made him beam,
the stuffed friend who’s been loved threadbare,
the homemade shorts worn through a whole summer of adventures,
the familiar field they’ve explored for years, now stitched into their childhood.
Motherhood has a way of making ordinary moments feel like magic, and watching these babies run, laugh, and lean into their parents felt like stepping into a page of their family’s story.
I still can’t believe this is my job — the families I meet, the moments I’m trusted to hold, the places I get to wander with them.
