Celebrating a new home while mourning a beloved brother. ❤️🏠🙏
As we were getting ready for the Griha Pravesh and house puja in Singapore, I received the heartbreaking news that my elder brother had passed away after a long illness.
My son asked if we should postpone the ceremony. I told him that his Mama(uncle) had always wanted to see him happy and successful, and would have wanted us to continue with the blessings for his new home.
So we carried on with the puja, but my heart was with my brother. One of my greatest sorrows is that I could not be by his side or see him one last time.
A day filled with pride, gratitude, love, and loss—a reminder that life’s happiest moments and deepest sorrows can sometimes arrive together. 🙏🙏❤️🏠
