Maana represented India at the Tokyo Olympic Games and became the first Indian female swimmer to qualify for the Olympics in backstroke.
Across her career, she earned more than 30 international medals, nearly 100 national medals, and broke multiple national records from a very young age.

Alongside elite sport, Maana pursued higher education in commerce and sport management, worked on athlete development programs, contributed to female athlete wellbeing initiatives, mentored young athletes, and is now working with World Aquatics in Lausanne on education and athlete-focused projects.

Wearing the rings again, this time behind the scenes, meant everything. As an Olympian, contributing from the other side of the field of play was a full-circle moment I’ll never forget. Life has a beautiful way of surprising you.
What made it unforgettable? The people. A global team of different languages, cultures, and working styles, all moving as one to make the Games seamless. Somewhere between tight timelines and long days, colleagues became family.
Grateful to work alongside Media Rights Holders and collaborate with incredible teams like CCR who bring the world closer to every performance. Watching athletes up close and seeing how each broadcaster tells their story of sacrifice and triumph was something special.
Thank you to my amazing team for showing up with passion and professionalism every single day. And heartfelt thanks for this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
