- Make sure you’re placing your spikes FIRST ensuring they are nice and even on both sides. I like to use 3-4mm longer spikes than the fans they will be next to, this helps them to not get lost in the set and still stand out!
- For a more dramatic strip lash look use at least 8 spikes, any more will achieve a more wispy look. Too many spikes will make the lashes just look super long and you’ll loose the style and effect.
- Avoid placing a spike too close to the inner corner. Once your client opens their eyes you don’t want a lash constantly touching and irritating their eyelids.
- Get mixing! I usually always go up a curl with the spikes as this helps the lashes blend together nicely and makes the spikes stand out even more!
