This makeup transformation took three hours(not including the build time for the fin). I used scar wax to make the fin look like it was growing out of his head. Then did a base of paradise paint (bought from )then layered hybrid paints from over top. I opted to paint on the scars for the sake of time and budget. I also built the fin from scratch using EVA foam, mod podge, spray paint and a dream. HUGE shout-out to for the fantastic step-by-step tutorial! It took two attempts and 12 hours of labour but I finally got it looking just right.
All in all I’m really proud of this project. I learned some new skills and I’m feeling creatively revitalized. Stay tuned for more posts of my amazing client transformations from this Halloween weekend. I have Dia De Los Muertos Catrina’s paints booked for tomorrow so the weekend isn’t over yet!🎨
