I’m calling is the luckiest travellers for this trip because we got the absolute pleasure and honour of seeing the best Northern Lights Iceland have seen in over 20 years 🥺 All of the locals were utterly gobsmacked telling us you never see them this strong and this bright this clear and strong with the naked eye.
A bucket list moment and a dream to experience - low key cried.
Apparently 2026 is going to the best year for the northern lights over the next 10 years due to the journey the sun is on, so if you needed a sign to book - take it as this 😅

I’ve spent all walks living in my Altitute Thermal leggings (spotted here in colour wild fern). They are fleece lined with a 0.4 tog rating so have kept me so warm and cosy against these minus temps whilst hiking.

As the new year begins, we're taking a moment to reintroduce ourselves and share our vision for this space. If you've been with us for a while, you know we've been working towards creating a more authentic space, one that celebrates the real, not just the highlights.
And let’s start with January. Outside of some rather hopefully wonderful plans for my husbands 40th, our January is looking to be pretty bleak and if we make it to spring without complete burn out it will be shy of an Easter bunny miracle. And so celebrating the little things is more important than ever.
This year we hope

👩🏼🌾expand our knowledge of gardening for beginners for the 2nd year in a row
⚖️ Try to reinstate some balance between work and personal to avoid burn out (pls god send tips)
🧘♀️prioritise my wellness
And potentially become so wealthy I can move to an old farmhouse in the countryside with an army of spaniels, some chickens and a fancy pants car. That one is lottery ticket dependent but a girl can manifest.
So anyways, enough about me. If you’re looking for a little normality this year on this space. The highs and the lows in normal everyday context, then maybe we might just get the part in being that space for you ☺️

We've had the loveliest time off and Luna has about about a week of big adventures from Yorkshire to the Peak District. We are all very sad it's come to an end and it's back to BAU 😭

Luna's ma here - This week marks our last week with Luna before we go off to get married and go roadtripping around Scotland whilst Luna goes on doggy holiday. It's going to be very strange without her and we will miss her daily, so much so I know it's all we will talk about every day. We are looking forward to some time for just us two with no poopgate, hysterical toddler puppy tantrums and our belongings being shed 🙈 and for those who have followed our journey with Luna for a long time time will know how much we need this 😂 and when we get back we have so many adventures planned with her and she will rule our lives again 🥰
We plan to do some updates whilst we are away to keep the content going but we will be a little rubbish on catching up so apologise for all we miss!
