Lately, things haven’t always gone the way I hoped they would, and sometimes it’s hard not to feel discouraged when you keep trying and trying.
But in the meantime, I’m reminding myself that there are still things I love doing. Teaching, creating, learning, sharing what I know… and making time for those things has helped me keep going.
Maybe not everything happens when we want it to, but that doesn’t mean we should stop trying.

This year has been a bit of a journey. I’ve been looking for a job and, so far, I’ve only gotten one opportunity for a temporary freelance position. Of course I said yes and took it!
Since that contract ended, I’ve been applying, waiting, trying again… and still no positive answer.

Sitting right by Lake Zürich in Blatterwiese, this pavilion was designed by Le Corbusier and commissioned by Swiss art collector and patron Heidi Weber.
It was completed in 1967, two years after Le Corbusier’s death, and became the last building of his design to be realized.
What makes it especially interesting is that, unlike most of his famous concrete buildings, this one is made mainly from steel, glass and colourful enamelled panels. The modular structure follows his famous Modulor system, based on human proportions.
Originally created as an exhibition space for art and architecture, it is now a museum and cultural space dedicated to Le Corbusier’s work.
