I came for the light and stayed for the cats. Most of these were shot before seven, when the bridge is still quiet and the fishermen do most of the talking.

The frame was already there. I just found it. Arches, doorways, camel legs, sculpture holes. Every location hides a shot inside a shot. You just have to slow down and look.
A few things that work for me:
- Get close to the frame, fill the edges with it
- Let the foreground go dark, light hits what’s inside
- Wait for someone to walk through. The best frames need a subject
Some of these took seconds. Some took 20 minutes of waiting. All of them were already there.
