Giovedì ho affrontato lo studio elettrofisiologico (SEF), un esame in cui i medici mappano l’impianto elettrico del cuore tramite dei cateteri. L’esame ha confermato che il mio battito va troppo piano e registra dei veri e propri blocchi.
Per scongiurare per ora il pacemaker, entro un mese tornerò in ospedale per l’impianto del Loop Recorder: un piccolo dispositivo sottopelle che monitorerà il mio cuore h24 e poi si vedrà.
Avrò anche tre mesi di stop totale da ogni sforzo. Niente allenamenti, niente surf. Per me che vivo in costante movimento, dover stare ferma è una sfida psicologica enorme.
Torno a casa infinitamente grata all’équipe medica della per l’altissima competenza e per l’umanità rara con cui mi hanno accompagnata in sala operatoria.
